The mG-T series point-of-sale (POS) scales offer three large-sized NTEP and Measurement Canada-certified scales measuring weight with Class III accuracy. The mG-T series is effortless to set up, connecting to your POS system via Bluetooth or serial connectivity and integrating easily with Star SDK. These scales simplify and streamline your POS, enhancing customer experience. They’re great for the grocery industry, for produce, butcher shops, delis, salad bars, or for bulk sales of any kind, such as grains, nuts, dried fruit, spices, candy, coffee, or tea. These trade-legal scales are also perfect for any retail sector selling items by weight, such as laundromats, wash-and-fold, dry cleaners, fabric outlets, farm stands, farmer’s markets, nursery and garden centers, farm supply stores, and more.

FOR LARGER APPLICATIONS

Each POS scale in the mG-T series has a platter measuring 13.5”x 10.5” (WxL), large enough to weigh any common bulk items. With a stainless-steel finish and easy-to-use interface, these scales are incredibly simple to install and operate, making the entire transaction a quicker and smoother process. While retailers such as yogurt shops and candy stores can measure the items they sell, grocers, butchers, and farmer’s markets can weigh much heavier items.

In order to be used for business in North America, scales must be NTEP (US) or Measurement Canada Certified. All of Star’s mG-T series of POS scales are certified by both, with Class III accuracy, meaning they are precise and legal for trade in the United States and Canada.
