Large Capacity & Legal for Trade
The NTEP-certified mG-S8200 is ideal for large-capacity measurements. The largest capacity of three of Star’s mG-Scales scales, the mG-S8200 can weigh small-scale inventory, produce, and some deli products. The capacity reaches up to 8200 g and measures in 1.0 g increments. Available with Extended Platter to weigh more items at one time. The platter measures 8.5” x 9” (WxL) with a stainless steel finish and is easy to install. Designed for modern retail, the POS scale is compatible with Windows, Android, and iOS and features interfaces including Bluetooth, USB, and serial.

ACCURATE AND ADAPTABLE

With a waterproof and dust-proof cover and NTEP certification, the mG-S8200 is highly accurate and ideal for large capacity measurements in a variety of industries including warehouse, shipping, and grocery. The mG-S8200 is available with an optional extended platter that allows retailers such as yogurt shops, produce stands, or candy shops to measure more items at one time, helping to make the entire transaction a quicker and smoother process.

FEATURING TODAY’S TECHNOLOGY

With an easy-to-use, future-proof design, the mG-S8200 offers software support for Windows, iOS, and Android, making the process of adding the scale to an existing system an easy process. The mG-S8200 can connect through three different types of interfaces including Bluetooth BLE, USB, and serial. The scale can also be powered either by a battery or through an outlet to allow for portability.

The lightweight Extended Scale Platter measures 8.5” x 9” (WxL), with a stainless-steel finish. It is easy to install or reposition, as it simply gets placed on top of the original platter, with pegs to keep the extended platter in place. Fit for the mG-S8200, the extended platter will allow retailers such as yogurt shops and candy stores to measure more items at one time, while also allowing retailers like farmers markets and butchers to weigh larger items, making the entire transaction a quicker and smoother process.
